Sat Nov 6th at 9:30 a.m. @ The Super 8 in Port Elgin
Allison Sutherland will be teaching 6 different techniques with cards. If you are new to cards or have made them for a long time this class will boost your confidence and get you making your cards in a whole new style.
Come out and learn with Allison! Cost $10.00 per person

Sat Nov 6th 1:00 p.m. at the Super 8 in Port Elgin
Karan Gerber will be teaching a Christmas Card Copic workshop.
Learn how to blend your copic markers to achieve proper color gradation. All materials will be provided.
Basic Copic markers will be needed to complete this class. Bring your stash and create these
wonderful cards with Karan Gerber. Cost $20.00 per person

Sat Nov 6th at 6:30 p.m. or Sunday Nov 7th at 10:00 a.m.
Karen Lancaster will be hosting the Family Canvas wall hanging 16x20 inches

Scrapfest was a great success! What a weekend we had! We sold out of most of the scrapbooking kits. So sorry if you were not able to purchase some of the kits. They went very quickly. I want to thank Karan Gerber, Joanne Beattie and Jen Wilson for helping me at the booth! It was the best Scrapfest yet!
The store is put back together this week wat a job that was. Thank goodness mom stopped in to help, I don't think that I would be done. New papers will be comming in next week from Pink Paisley and Bo-bunny. I will also have some of those beautiful kits available. ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT UNTIL NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY!

Retreat Date and location has changed

Hello Ladies,
Well I am sorry to tell you all this but the Retreat at the Waterview has been canceled. The Good news is that I have found a different location! Ya hoo!! The Super 8 in Port Elgin. You can look at their accommodations by going to www.portelginsuper8.com The Date has been changed as well so if you have booked already and you can not make the new date your money will be refunded. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone.
The new RETREAT date is Nov 5,6,7 2010

The super 8 has an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and exercise room available 8am to 10pm.
Meals include full breakfast and lunch Saturday and Sunday. Dinner will be a held Friday night at the Atlantic Buffet Chinese food. 6:00 p.m. Saturday dinner is a $30.00 gift card for either Lord Elgins Restaurant Fish and chips across the street from the super 8 or the Queens downtown Port Elgin they have steak burgers pasta and salads etc.

The Super 8 does not do Dinners so this can be a great

break for everyone to get out and enjoy each others company.

We will be staying in the Traditional rooms at the Super 8 they have 2 queen size beds with a pillow top. 25" TV, V.C.R - D.V.D, player,

Microwave, coffee maker, clock radio, free high speed Internet, free

movie channel, mini fridge, microwave and hair dryer. Each Guest will receive a goodie bag worth $50.00 retail !! Cropping Space, Free make and takes and demonstrations.

Classes will be extra. Karan Gerber is still on board to do some classes at the retreat!
A list will be posted closer to the date.

Kris's Esthetics will be on site at the Super 8 on Saturday if you would like to get a pedicure, manicure or relaxing massage. You will have to book an appointment this would also be an extra cost.

Rates

2-Person to a room $289.00 each

3-Person to a room $259.00 each

4-Person to a room $242.00 each

A $40.00 deposit will be required upon booking and the remainder a post dated cheque due
Oct 1st 2010. If something comes up and you are not able to come to the retreat

before Oct 1st your deposit will be refunded after that date it will be cashed.

well I have been at the new location for one year! wahoo It has been alot of work but it is the best. Karan Gerber had came last Sat to do a copic class and it was fabulus!! we made some beautiful cards. we will be doing a copic 2 class in the spring.

Karan is also designing for Karen's Creations scrapbooking!

Wiarton. May 2nd and 3rd will be the grand opening of the store!! There will be all new classes make &
